AASLE is an important platform for scholars in the Asia-Pacific region to research and exchange ideas. The annual AASLE conference supports and encourages discussions and exchanges on research, policies, and applications in labor economics. In 2026, the conference will be hosted by the National School of Development at Peking University.
REGISTRATION
Registration is now open!

To attend the conference you need to be an AASLE member. You can both register for the event and become an AASLE member through this registration link. The deadline for early-bird registration is the 15 September 2026 beyond which point and until the 31 October you will be charged the late fees.
​
Presentations will be scheduled from Thursday December 10 until Saturday December 12. The programme will be uploaded on the website by the end of October and the guidelines for presenters closer to the event date.
​
If you are presenting, please make sure you use the same email address you used for your paper submission and latin characters for your details. Do note that in order to have your presentation scheduled in the programme, your registration must be completed by the 6th October 2026.
​
Please be reminded to plan for your own travel arrangements including allowing sufficient time to apply for a travel visa if required. You are also advised to book your accomodation early as December is a busy month.
