AASLE is an important platform for scholars in the Asia-Pacific region to research and exchange ideas. The annual AASLE conference supports and encourages discussions and exchanges on research, policies, and applications in labor economics. In 2024, the conference will be hosted by the Faculty of Economics at Chulalongkorn University.
INFO FOR PRESENTERS
Scheduled from Thursday December 12 until Saturday December 14, the programme has now been uploaded on the website. Each presenter is allocated 30 mins for their presentation, which includes 5 minutes of discussion time.
Session Chair
In a regular parallel session, the last person scheduled to present will chair the session. Session chairs should ensure that all speakers receive their allocated time and that the audience has an opportunity for questions and comments. If you are the chair of a session and would like someone to chair your presentation then please ask the first presenter.
For the job market sessions, senior academic staff will chair each session and ensure that all presenters adhere to the presentation schedule.
Presentation Guidelines
Please save your presentation in PDF and bring it to your session on a USB flash drive. The session schedules are tight so it would be useful if you can arrive 5 minutes before the session's start time to upload the presentation.
Special Conference Issue of Labour Economics
Authors of presented papers will have the opportunity to submit their paper for consideration to a special conference issue of Labour Economics. The submission deadline for the revised manuscript is 31 January 2025. We will provide more information on the review and selection process for this special issue after the conference.
